Larry Frates is the Artist in Residence at the Historic Belknap Mill located in Laconia, New Hampshire. He has been creating quality Watercolor and Acrylic paintings for 50 years and in addition he has been creating and offering Adult Studio Art Classes, Paint Along Workshops, Caricatures, Magic Shows, Cartoon Storytelling at the Mill. He has taught in the Public Schools of New Hampshire, served as Adjunct/Clinical Faculty of Fine Arts and Humanities at both Southern New Hampshire University & Plymouth State University.
His paintings can be seen both in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire and New Orleans, Louisiana where he has been part of the New Orleans Museum of Art Community Outreach Program and UPTURN ARTS. His works have also been exhibited in the United Kingdom during his Fulbright Year in Scotland living in the Orkney Islands.
He is also a Master Artist/Lecturer for the Lakes Center for the Arts Community OutReach Program.

All sessions are available 24/7 to allow you to access instruction any time at your convenience and individually review the lessons as needed.
ZOOM INTERACTIVE (LIVE) CLASSES - These 5 week BLOCKS are presented in a variety of media on Wednesdays (see below) They are recorded and available for future review with password access for privacy. Personal Critique Sessions are available during the last half hour of each class
